You are looking at a early 1955 ford 239 Y-Block Reconditioned Cylinder head. They came off of my 1955 Ford F250 Y-Block 239 with over head valves. When I had them reconditioned they put in new knurled valve guides with perfect circle seals. They also replaced most of the valves and seats. The heads were checked for cracks but i do not remember if they were surfaced. From what i have read heads marked EBV were used late 1954-1955 Ford Trucks. Please check if they will fit your application before buying them. Because of the weight no returns accepted on these heads. I had them done when i was rebuilding my motor but found a very scored cylinder (wrist pin c-clip came out). I decided to just put in a 292 engine instead. the heads have been setting on a shelf since 2010. They do have a little surface rust as seen in pictures. The heads are marked EBV-6090-B with Cleveland F in C Marks. They are very heavy at 56 pounds each. I will ship UPS or FedEx freight which ever provides best rate.
